Deep Roots is a collective impact organization of multi-sector Partners. Together with our Partners, we work to increase native plant landscapes. Our mission is to encourage the appreciation, conservation, and use of native plants in the heartland through educating, collaborating, and facilitating the planting of regenerative native landscapes that are essential for a healthy planet.

We've got an exciting announcement! 🎉 Cydney Ro We've got an exciting announcement! 🎉 Cydney Ross has joined Deep Roots this month in a new cooperative position with the Missouri Department of Conservation at the Discovery Center. As Outdoor Education Program Manager, she leads volunteer groups, fields trips and other outreach activities. At the Discover Center, she stewards 9 acres of native plantings and shares the space with visitors during tours, classes and events. 🚌ROAD TRIP(S)!! In the summer and fall of 2023, 🚌ROAD TRIP(S)!! In the summer and fall of 2023, Deep Roots will host three field trips to highlighted Native Plants at Noon on the Road sites. Those sites and dates have yet to be identified but are sure to be awesome! We will charter a bus from Kansas City and take ourselves on the road (literally) to a treasured Missouri Dept. Conservation sites, enjoying nature and the fellowship of each other.
