We are scheduling one final Discover Native Gardening Session at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center next Wednesday evening 10/22 from 5-7pm.

With the milder weather and plant growth winding down, I noticed there are some annual and bi-annual species that have set roots in the new bioswale planting. (Looking at you Biannual Primrose!) This is a great opportunity to determine gardening goals and learn how to identify and manage species that aren’t in alignment with your goals. If we don’t edit species out now, it will be much harder next year and the plants we do want may be outcompeted!
