Factors like sunlight, moisture, and soil type determine the common adage, “right plant, right place”. Join Deep Roots for a presentation on determining site conditions and gleaning inspiration from natural habitats like woodlands, prairies, and glades. We’ll look at examples of Midwestern native plants suitable for sun, shade, and difficult gardening conditions like slopes, beneath trees, and wet spots. This program is in partnership with the city of Kansas City, Missouri for their Native Plant Trainings.
