Deep Roots operates in Namibia (since 1998), Zambia (since 2000), Guatemala (since 2002), and Nepal (since 2003). It is a successful program empowering youth through education.
Our scholarship recipients, two-thirds of whom are girls, excel academically at their local schools, but unfortunately lack the financial resources to continue their education. A Deep Roots Scholarship makes it possible for them to go to school.
Our newest program, the Girls' Scholarship Program (since 2007), is an extension of Deep Roots Namibia: It assists young women in Namibia to continue their education through university.
